Upcoming in Gray Wolves Lacrosse: Lourdes heads into postseason play for the first time in program history on Friday afternoon as the Gray Wolves face Davenport in the semifinals of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference tournament.

Head Coach Paul Sieben: In his third season on the Lourdes bench, Paul Sieben has a 11-34 (.244) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves and as a collegiate head coach.  He is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history.

Series Notes: Davenport leads the all-time series against Lourdes 6-0 dating back to March 8, 2014.  The Panthers won the first two meetings this season, 21-2 at Wildcat Stadium and 21-5 in Grand Rapids, Mich.  Davenport is 3-0 all-time against the Gray Wolves in Grand Rapids.

Earlier This Season: Davenport scored 21 of the game's first 22 goals on March 16 at Wildcat Stadium, and the Panthers defeated Lourdes 21-1.  Brooke Knoll scored five times to lead Davenport while Klarque Scott and Jessie Frost tallied the goals for Lourdes.  The Panthers jumped out to an 8-1 lead in the snow on April 2 in Grand Rapids and defeated Lourdes 21-5 in the second meeting of the year.  Alyssa Long scored all five times for the Gray Wolves while Knoll tallied five goals for Davenport.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes dropped a 21-8 decision at home against Indiana Tech last Wednesday on Senior Night.  Alyssa Long led the Gray Wolves with six goals while Kiley Ketteman made nine saves.  On Friday, Jessie Frost scored the game-winning tally with 1:58 to play as the Gray Wolves defeated Aquinas 9-8 on the road.  Long had a team-high three goals while Ketteman made nine stops.  The Gray Wolves scored six unanswered goals in the second half on Saturday to rally from a 7-6 deficit to defeat Siena Heights on the road 12-7.  Lourdes had five players with two goals each and Ketteman made 10 stops.  On Sunday in the regular season finale, Lawrence Tech downed the Gray Wolves 17-5 at Wildcat Stadium.  Long led Lourdes with three goals while Ketteman made 11 stops.

Scouting Davenport:  The Panthers enter the tournament having dropped the regular season finale to Indiana Tech 12-1 last Saturday afternoon.  Hanna Bush leads Davenport with 63 points this season, having handed out a team-high 39 assists.  Brooke Knoll is the Panthers' leading goal scorer, having found the back of the cage 60 times and has 62 total points.  In goal, Samantha Powers has played a majority of the minutes, sporting a 7.57 goals against average and a .430 save percentage this season.

A New Experience: Lourdes is competing in the WHAC tournament for the first time in program history this season.  The Gray Wolves had never even won a conference game in the first two years of the program, but won three this year to tie Siena Heights for fourth place, earning the postseason berth via the RPI tiebreaker.  Lourdes has set a new school record with six victories, after entering the year with four all-time in program history.

Single Season Records: Alyssa Long has set a new school single season record with seven assists this season, breaking the old mark of five shared by three players.  Kiley Ketteman has broken Amanda Kaczmarek's 2014 mark of 119 saves with 135 this season.  She is also on pace to set a new mark in save percentage (.417) and goals against average (13.03).  Long just five goals and three points shy of matching her own school marks in those categories.  Hannah Cullis needs one groundball to match Allison Mazey's 2014 record of 38.

Captains: Lourdes has tri-captains this season.  Hannah Cullis, Alyssa Long, and Margaret Janiga are all serving their first season as Gray Wolf leaders.

This and That: Lourdes won back-to-back games last week for just the second time in program history ... the Gray Wolves are over .500 (4-3) on the road this year ... Jessie Frost leads the team with 39 draw controls.
