Lourdes opened its final 10-game homestand on the season Wednesday evening, dropping both ends of a doubleheader to Indiana Tech 10-1 and 3-1 at Mercy Field.

The Warriors scored four runs in the third and added three more in the fourth to build an early lead and added three more runs over the next two frames before Lourdes got on the scoreboard.

In the bottom of the sixth,
Dallas Riggs (Prescott, Ariz./Paradise Valley H.S.) tripled to lead off the inning and
Nick Toth (Hudson, Ohio/Hudson H.S.) singled him home with two outs.

Lourdes managed just four hits in the game, including three off of starter Cody Kellar who went six innings to earn the win (3-1).Â
Phoenix Andrews (Canton, Ohio/Saint Thomas Aquinas H.S.) suffered the loss (1-2), allowing seven runs, five of which were earned, and seven hits in four innings.

The Gray Wolves scored first in game two
Devin Stanley (Euclid, Ohio/Saint Edward H.S.) drew a bases loaded walk to plate Riggs, who singled up the middle to start the inning.

Bill Laranga (Maumee, Ohio/Maumee H.S.) kept the Warriors off of the scoreboard until the fourth when Indiana Tech (28-16, 12-12 WHAC) plated two before adding an insurance run in the fifth.

Lourdes looked to rally in the seventh, putting runners on the corners, but were unable to produce another tally.

George Pastor (Walled Lake, Mich./Central H.S.) had two of the Gray Wolves' four hits in the nightcap.

Zach Sailors earned the win (2-0), allowing just one hit in four innings while Laranga suffered the loss (2-7), despite surrendering just four hits.

Lourdes (10-33, 4-20) will begin a four-game series with Marygrove on Saturday afternoon. The first pitch of the doubleheader is set for 1 p.m. at Mercy Field.
