th-ranked Lourdes to 25-17, 25-16, 25-18 victory over Concordia (Mich.) on Wednesday evening at Cardinal Fieldhouse in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Stef Comte (Toledo, Ohio/Notre Dame Academy) led the Gray Wolves with 12 kills and hit .611 while
Stephanie Ruffing (Columbus, Ohio/Olentangy Liberty H.S.) added 10 kills as part of her .400 hitting night. After hitting just .241 in the opening stanza, Lourdes hit .406 in the second set and .500 in the finale.

Meghan Birr (Muskegon, Mich./Mona Shores H.S.) handed out 33 assists for the match while at the service line, Lourdes registered eight aces, including a pair from both
Angelica Dippold (Louisville, Ky./Mercy Academy) and
Sarah Wisser (Schoolcraft, Mich./Schoolcraft H.S.).

"We hit really efficiently tonight and got a strong serving performance," head coach
Greg Reitz said following the contest. "Our ball control steadied out and allowed Meghan to distribute the ball well. Our defense was off a bit and we allowed them to hit well. We need to improve upon that for Friday."

Molly Shonk (Columbus, Ohio/Bishop Hartley H.S.) led Lourdes with 10 digs while Dippold and Ruffing each had seven for Lourdes.

Rebecca McDonald led Concordia (11-7, 0-2 WHAC) with 10 kills and hit .643 while Julia Szuba led the Cardinals with nine digs for the match.

Lourdes (8-3, 3-0) will remain on the road Friday evening as the Gray Wolves head to Southfield, Mich. to battle Lawrence Tech. The opening serve is set for 7 p.m. at Ridler Fieldhouse.
