Eleventh-ranked Lourdes bounced back after dropping the opening set on Friday, its first dropped set in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play this season, to defeat Lawrence Tech 24-26, 25-22, 25-10, 25-18 at the Ridler Fieldhouse in Southfield, Mich.

The Gray Wolves have now won four straight matches and eight of their last nine overall.

"We are happy to get out of there with a win," head coach
Greg Reitz said afterwards. "They served extremely well so we had to adjust. We passed well enough to distribute the ball and did a good job of extending rallies though."

Ave Stout (Huntertown, Ind./Bishop Luers H.S.) tallied 18 kills without an error on just 26 swings, posting a .692 hitting percentage for the night.Â
Molly Shonk (Columbus, Ohio/Bishop Hartley H.S.) tallied 20 digs defensively as part of a double-double, registering 10 kills on the offensive end.

"Ave lit it up tonight and Molly passed extremely well," Reitz added.

Stephanie Ruffing (Columbus, Ohio/Olentangy Liberty H.S.) added 13 kills offensively as the Gray Wolves hit .357 as a team.Â
Meghan Birr (Muskegon, Mich./Mona Shores H.S.) handed out 43 assists while tallying 10 digs for a double-double as well while
Angelica Dippold (Louisville, Ky./Mercy Academy) recorded 11 digs.

As a team Lourdes did not commit an error in the third set offensively, tallying 13 kills while hitting .650 and followed that up with a .423 hitting mark in the fourth.

Briana Reum led Lawrence Tech (8-11, 0-3 WHAC) with 12 kills while Lexi Szymoniak registered a team-high 16 digs.

Lourdes (9-3, 4-0) will conclude its three-match road trip on Saturday afternoon as the Gray Wolves travel to Marygrove. First serve is set for 1 p.m. at the Northwest Activities Center in Detroit, Mich.
