Lourdes closed out a three-match road trip on Wednesday evening with its third consecutive sweep, a 25-22, 25-21, 25-22 decision over Rochester (Mich.) inside of Garth Pleasant Arena in Rochester Hills, Mich.

The Gray Wolves had three players post double figure kill totals and hit .231 as a team on the evening.Â
Emily Arnold (Sylvania, Ohio/Southview H.S.) led the Gray Wolves with 13 kills and hit .407 for the match.Â
Jami Markus (Oregon, Ohio/Central Catholic H.S.) handed out 42 assists.

"This wasn't our best passing performance, but we were able to hit pretty well," head coach
Greg Reitz said after the match. "It was a very loud gym full of rowdy fans. It's a great place to play volleyball if it is your home, and we were very happy to get out of there with the win."

Lourdes trailed 19-15 in the opening set before eight of the team's 18 first set kills came in the final 10 points and allowed the Gray Wolves to rally for the win. Four straight points by Lourdes when set two was tied at 16 allowed the visitors to build a 2-0 lead in the match. The final set saw Rochester pull within one, 21-20, but the Gray Wolves held off the late charge to secure the win.

Kristin Murrell (Toledo, Ohio/Central Catholic H.S.) and
Tylar Roberson (Elkhart, Ind./Central H.S.) each tallied double-doubles. Murrell had 12 kills and 16 digs while Roberson added 10 kills and 15 digs.Â
Angelica Dippold (Louisville, Ky./Mercy Academy) had a match-high 20 digs while
Shannon Fischer (Toledo, Ohio/Notre Dame Academy) added 10 more as Lourdes outdug the Warriors 73-62 for the match.

Laura Wilson led Rochester (6-15, 1-7 WHAC) with 12 kills while Jenna Pomaville had 20 digs for the Warriors.

Lourdes (14-6, 5-2) will return home on Friday evening to continue Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play as the Gray Wolves host Northwestern Ohio. First serve is set for 7 p.m. inside of the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center.
