Mirandia Green's (Toledo, Ohio/Whitmer H.S.) first collegiate double-double led five Gray Wolves in double figures on Tuesday evening as Lourdes defeated Wright State-Lake 86-53 inside the Auglaize-Mercer County YMCA in Celina, Ohio.

Green finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds off the bench as the Gray Wolves held a 52-16 advantage in bench points for the game.  Tatyana Reynolds (Toledo, Ohio/Rogers H.S.) also scored 17 points in a reserve role while LaTyrah Beasley (Toledo, Ohio/Bowsher H.S.) poured in 10 points.

Jami Hardy (Perrysburg, Ohio/Cardinal Stritch H.S.) added 11 points and Sydney Miller (Huntsville, Ohio/Indiana Lake H.S.) tallied 10 more in the victory.

"I was pleased with our ability to share the ball and hit the open teammate," head coach Summer Quesenberry said after the game.

The Gray Wolves 33 Laker turnovers on the evening and held Wright State-Lake to just 27% shooting for the game, including just 2-of-15 (13.3%) from three-point range.

Lourdes led by one, 11-10, with 3:34 to play in the first, but a 12-4 run spilling into the second period pushed the lead to nine.  Another 13-4 spurt before halftime allowed the Gray Wolves to open up a 36-24 lead at the break.

The lead grew to 19 midway through the third quarter before the Lakers scored six straight to pull within 13, 58-45, heading into the final 10 minutes.  Lourdes took over down the stretch, outscoring the hosts 28-8 in the final period to put the game away.

After shooting just over 30% in the first half, Lourdes connected at nearly a 50% clip in the second half, finishing the night shooting 40.7% from the floor.  The Gray Wolves committed 27 turnovers though.

Lourdes finished with a 59-48 rebounding edge, including 22 offensive boards.

"We crashed the boards hard in the second half," Quesenberry added.  "We need to continue building upon our team defensive principles.  Overall I'm very happy with our team's ability to strive towards building team cohesion and competing through adversity."

Nicole Fogt led Wright State-Lake (0-3) with 20 points and 16 rebounds.
