Lourdes began a stretch of three games in three days on Thursday evening, falling 97-56 to Bowling Green inside the Stroh Center in Bowling Green, Ohio.

The contest was an exhibition game for the Gray Wolves, but counted as a regular season contest for the Falcons.

"We are very thankful for Bowling Green and Coach Huger for giving us this opportunity to come down and play," head coach Josh Gibson said after the game.  "We did everything we could to get ready for games the next two days and improve as a team."

Lourdes kept the game close for the first seven minutes.  Jordan Fabry's (Schalersville, Ohio/Crestwood H.S.) three-pointer put the Gray Wolves in front 8-6 and a layup by Kadeim Jones (Dayton, Ohio/Marshall H.S.) tied the game at 10.

"We did a good job of executing the game play initially," Gibson added.

The Falcons scored the next 17 points in a three-minute span to break the contest open before a triple by Bryce McComb (Swanton, Ohio/Swanton H.S.) ended the run.  Another 16-4 run just before halftime allowed Bowling Green to open up a 48-22 lead at the break.

The Gray Wolves shot just 27.6% in the opening 20 minutes while Bowling Green connected at a 55.2% clip, while making 6-of-14 (42.9%) from three-point range.  The Gray Wolves did force eight Falcon turnovers in the opening half though.

Lourdes tried to cut into the deficit coming out of the locker room, pulling within 58-33 on a Jones triple at the 15:41 mark.  Bowling Green slowly increased its advantage from there.  The Falcons led by 35, 87-52, with three minutes to play before an 11-2 run pushed the game to the final margin.

"I thought we came out ready to play in both halves," Gibson added.  "We had some good shots that didn't fall for us."

McComb led Lourdes with 10 points while Jones and Clif Snow (Middletown, Ohio/Middletown H.S.) added eight points each.  The Gray Wolves finished the game shooting 32.8% from the floor, but made nine triples.

Rodrick Caldwell led Bowling Green (9-4) with 15 points as the Falcons shot 58.6% from the floor on the evening.

Lourdes (5-9) returns to regular season action on Friday evening, as the Gray Wolves host Kent State-Tuscarawas.  Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. inside the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center.
