Twelve straight points by Indiana Tech spanning the first and second quarters allowed the Warriors to take control on Saturday afternoon, on the way to an 81-36 victory over Lourdes inside the Schaefer Center in Fort Wayne, Ind.

Lourdes shot just 22.8% from the floor for the game and committed 21 turnovers, while Indiana Tech outscored the Gray Wolves 50-10 in the paint.

The 11
th-ranked Warriors led 12-7 late in the first quarter before scoring the final seven points of the period as well as the first five points of the second to increase the lead to 24-7 on the way to building a 34-18 halftime lead.

Indiana Tech outscored Lourdes 25-7 in the third quarter, including a 20-2 spurt over the final 6:47 to double the lead before going on another 13-2 run in the final period.

Sydney Miller (Huntsville, Ohio/Indian Lake H.S.) led Lourdes with 16 points as the only Gray Wolf to finish in double figures while
Sara Semler (Toledo, Ohio/Whitmer H.S.) added six points.

Keanna Gary and Haley Cook led Indiana Tech (11-2, 5-1 WHAC) with 20 points each as the Warriors shot 46.9% from the floor.

Lourdes (5-6, 2-4) remains on the road Thursday evening, as the Gray Wolves travel to Rochester Hills, Mich. to battle Rochester (Mich.). Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m. inside the Garth Pleasant Arena.
