Upcoming in Gray Wolves Lacrosse: The midway point of the 2017 season arrives this week as Lourdes continues Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play against a pair of nationally-ranked foes.  The Gray Wolves head to Indiana Tech on Wednesday evening before returning to Wildcat Stadium for a Saturday afternoon contest against Davenport.

Head Coach Paul Sieben: In his fourth season on the Lourdes bench, Paul Sieben has a 13-40 (.245) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves and as a collegiate head coach.  He is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history.  Sieben was named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2016.

Series Notes: Indiana Tech holds a 7-0 series advantage against Lourdes dating back to March 5, 2014.  The Warriors swept last year's meetings, downing the Gray Wolves 19-6 in Fort Wayne, Ind. and 21-8 at Wildcat Stadium.  Indiana Tech is 3-0 all-time against Lourdes in Fort Wayne.  Davenport is 8-0 all-time against Lourdes in a series that began March 8, 2014.  The Panthers won the first meeting between the two schools this season 18-3 on March 18 in Grand Rapids, Mich.  Davenport won last year's meeting at Wildcat Stadium 21-2.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Ninth-ranked Siena Heights rallied from a 5-3 halftime deficit to defeat Lourdes 12-11 on Wednesday evening at Wildcat Stadium.  Alyssa Long and Shelby Kellar both scored four times for the Gray Wolves in the loss while Kiley Ketteman made 12 saves.  The Gray Wolves picked up their first WHAC victory of the season on Saturday, downing Concordia (Mich.) 16-5 on the road.  Long tallied five goals while Tiara Reed found the back of the cage three more times.  On Sunday, thunderstorms with 21:40 remaining in the second half forced the postponement of the Lourdes-Lawrence Tech contest at Wildcat Stadium with the Blue Devils leading 14-5.

Scouting Indiana Tech: The Warriors enter Wednesday's game following a 21-4 victory at Concordia (Mich.) on Monday night.  Heidi Tremaine leads the Warriors with 34 goals this season while Sam Vikstrom has a team-high 42 points on 33 goals.  Jennifer Banks leads the team with 10 assists.  Sydney Davis has sports a 7.51 goals against average and a .462 save percentage in goal.

Scouting Davenport: The Panthers have won six straight goals after defeating Madonna 30-0 on Saturday and play at Lawrence Tech Wednesday before visiting Lourdes.  Jessica Lemcke leads the Panthers with 38 goals and 47 points while Tara Pluger has a team-high 120 assists.  Alex Yates has played most of the minutes in goal, posting an 8.41 goals against average and a .424 save mark.

Weather Causing Issues: Inclement weather has already forced two postponements for the Gray Wolves this season.  The March 15 contest against Madonna was postponed due to snow and cold temperatures and has been rescheduled for April 17 at 4 p.m.  Sunday's contest with Lawrence Tech was postponed during the second half due to thunderstorms and a make-up date has yet to be announced.

Tressel Making an Impact: Mary Tressel has an impact during the first half of her rookie campaign with the Gray Wolves.  She scored her first two collegiate goals last week, one against Siena Heights and another against Concordia (Mich.).  Tressel also leads the team with 36 ground balls, 14 draw controls, and 25 caused turnovers this year.

Spreading Out the Offense: Lourdes had nine different goal scorers in the win at Concordia (Mich.) on Saturday.  Lolo Garza and Hannah Cullis each tallied their first goals of the year in the win.

Making the Stops: Kiley Ketteman registered 12 saves for the Gray Wolves on Wednesday in the loss to Siena Heights.  The effort was her second highest save total of the season, behind her 16 stops in the season opener against Columbia (S.C.).

Captains Named: Lourdes has tri-captains this season.  Hannah Cullis, Lolo Garza, and Alyssa Long are serving as the leadership role.  Cullis and Long are two-time captains while Garza is in her first season in that role.
