Upcoming in Gray Wolves Lacrosse: Having won two straight games, Lourdes returns home on Wednesday evening to entertain Indiana Tech. The Gray Wolves travel then to Siena Heights on Saturday before hosting Madonna on Monday.
Head Coach Paul Sieben: In his fourth season on the Lourdes bench,
Paul Sieben has a 15-42 (.263) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves and as a collegiate head coach. He is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history. Sieben was named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2016.
Series Notes: Indiana Tech has won all eight previous meetings against Lourdes dating back to March 5, 2014. The Warriors won the previous meeting this season 17-4 in Fort Wayne, Ind. and won the only previous game at Wildcat Stadium, 21-8, last year. Siena Heights holds a 6-1 series edge over the Gray Wolves dating back to March 18, 2014. The Saints won the earlier meeting this year 12-11 at home on March 22. Siena Heights is 3-1 against Lourdes in Adrian, Mich. Lourdes won the only previous meeting against Madonna, 21-4, on past Monday (April 10) in Livonia, Mich.

Scouting Indiana Tech: The Warriors enter play off back-to-back losses, the most recent a 15-14 setback to Davenport on Saturday. Heidi Tremaine leads the team with 48 goals while Sam Vikstrom has 47 more. Both Tremaine and Vikstrom have 59 points on the year. Sydney Davis has played most of the minutes in goal, carrying a 8.54 goals against average and a .446 save percentage.
Scouting Siena Heights: The Saints fell at Lawrence Tech on Saturday in their most recent outing 21-8 and play at Madonna on Wednesday before hosting Lourdes. Kayla Parks leads the Saints with 48 goals and 56 points while Aliisa Mason has 35 goals and a team-high 24 assists for 59 points. Tabitha Ferguson has a 13.13 goals against average and a .416 save percentage between the posts.
Scouting Madonna: The Crusaders are still looking for their first victory in program history after suffering a 21-4 loss to Lourdes on Monday. Madonna plays host to Siena Heights on Wednesday and Lawrence Tech on Saturday before visiting Lourdes. Emily Johnson leads Madonna with 13 goals on the season while Sarah Carlson has added eight more. In goal, Stephanie Mackley has played every minute, and sports an 18.18 goals against average and a .388 save percentage.
Record-Setting Affair: Lourdes' victory over Madonna on Monday set a school record for goals in a game (21) and margin of victory (17). The Gray Wolves' previous records were set earlier this year at Concordia (Mich.) on March 25. Lourdes scored 16 goals in that game and won by 11 goals.
Back-to-Back Wins a Rarity: Lourdes has won back-to-back games for just the third time in program history and the first time this season. The last time the Gray Wolves won two straight was April 15 and 16, 2016 at Aquinas and at Siena Heights.
Long Matches Single Season Assist Record: Alyssa Long has tied her own single season assist record set last season with her eighth helper of the year on Monday at Madonna.
Nearing Team Records: Lourdes enters the week looking to break a pair of team single season records. The Gray Wolves are 15 goals shy of the school's single season record of 130 one assist why of the assist mark (20), and 16 points shy of the points record (150).
