Lourdes managed just two hits on Sunday afternoon, and dropped the series finale to Siena Heights 8-0 at Mercy Field.

The Saints jumped in front with four runs in the opening inning, producing four hits while drawing a walk and reaching with a hit batter. A groundout added a run in the fifth while Siena Heights tacked on three more in the seventh.

The Gray Wolves' best chances to score came in the fifth, when they put runners on the corners with two outs, and the ninth, when the had runners on second and third with none out.

Kyle Sherman (Collierville, Tenn./Rossville Christian Academy) doubled with one out in the eighth to break up Chris McKiddie's no-hit bid.Â
Cameron Gallo (Mason, Ohio/Bishop Fenwick H.S.) added a two-base hit in the ninth for the only other hit against McKiddie, who earned the win (1-6). He struck out nine and walked four in eight innings.

Matt York (Oregon, Ohio/Clay H.S.) suffered the loss (1-6), allowing five runs and seven hits in six innings while fanning two.

John Watts led Siena Heights' 12-hit attack, going 3-for-5 with two runs batted in.
