Lourdes extended its home court win streak to 29 on Wednesday evening, as the Gray Wolves swept Concordia (Mich.) 25-10, 25-15, 25-22 at the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center.

"I thought we played well in front of our home crown," head coach
Greg Reitz said after the match. "It's fun for us to play here because we feed off of the energy the fans provide. We had an efficient attack from pin-to-pin tonight, and the setters did a good job of distributing the ball."

The Gray Wolves took control of the match from the opening serve, as
Allie Hale (Holland, Ohio/Springfield H.S.) registered five straight points. The lead grew to 16-4 and Lourdes coasted to the opening set victory, committing just one attack error while hitting .389 for the stanza.

Lourdes jumped out to a 4-1 lead in the second and used a 9-2 run to open up a 16-7 advantage on the way to building a 2-0 lead in the match.Â

The third set saw the Cardinals take an early 11-7 lead, but the service of
Shannon Fischer (Toledo, Ohio/Notre Dame Academy) and
Sarah Wisser (Schoolcraft, Mich./Schoolcraft H.S.) propelled Lourdes on a 13-1, putting the match out of reach.

Lourdes tallied 15 kills in each of the three sets while hitting .336 as a team.Â
Kristin Murrell (Toledo, Ohio/Central Catholic H.S.), one of three Gray Wolves to register a double-double in the match, had a match-high 13 kills while hitting .448. The junior also tallied a team-high 14 digs defensively.Â
Chelsea Lawrence (Palmdale, Calif./Highland H.S.) added 11 kills, swinging at a .455 clip.

Wisser handed out 15 assists and tallied 10 digs while
Angelica Dippold (Louisville, Ky./Mercy Academy) had 11 assists and 10 digs for a double-double as well.Â
Evynn Eubanks (Phoenix, Ariz./Arcadia H.S.) dished out 15 helpers while Hale had 11 digs.Â
Emily Arnold (Sylvania, Ohio/Southview H.S.) was involved in seven of Lourdes' nine blocks for the match.

Rebecca McDonald led Concordia (0-13, 0-2 WHAC) with nine kills and hit .263 while Alisha Anderson collected 19 digs.

Lourdes (8-4, 1-1) will remain at home on Friday evening as the Gray Wolves welcome Lawrence Tech to the Ebeid Rec Center. The opening serve is set for 7 p.m.
