All 12 players that dressed scored on Saturday afternoon for Lourdes as the Gray Wolves stepped out of conference play for the final time in 2017-2018 and defeated Wilberforce 85-57 inside of Gaston Lewis Gymnasium in Wilberforce, Ohio.

With the victory, the Gray Wolves snapped a five-game losing skid, winning their first game in the calendar year.

Lourdes limited Wilberforce to just 29.9% shooting for the afternoon while shooting 47% offensively, and outrebounded the Bulldogs 46-38. The bench outscored Wilberforce's reserves 48-12.

"We played much better team defense today," head coach
Summer Quesenberry said afterwards. "I was pleased with our collective team effort getting 48 points from our bench and every single player contributing to the score."

Wilberforce jumped out to a 12-4 lead midway through the opening period before Lourdes answered with nine straight points. The hosts scored the final five of the first quarter though to take a 20-16 lead into the second.

Trailing 23-22 with under six minutes to play before halftime, Lourdes went on a 14-4 run in less than three minutes to build a 36-27 lead, an advantage the Gray Wolves would not relinquish. The Gray Wolves then scored the final seven points before the break to take a 45-31 lead into the locker room.

After Wilberforce cut the lead to 10 early in the third, Lourdes scored eight unanswered points to start a 19-4 run, increasing the advantage to 64-39. The Gray Wolves would maintain a lead of at least 20 points the rest of the way.

Sydney Miller (Huntsville, Ohio/Indian Lake H.S.) led the Gray Wolves with 24 points off the bench, making six three-pointers, while
Tatyana Reynolds (Toledo, Ohio/Rogers H.S.) added 15 more.Â
Jami Hardy (Perrysburg, Ohio/Cardinal Stritch H.S.) recorded her first double-double, scoring 11 points and grabbing 10 rebounds while handing out four assists.Â
Christiana Jefferson (Toledo, Ohio/Notre Dame Academy) dished out a game-high seven helpers.

Jami Hardy was the spark that got our team going after a sluggish first quarter," Quesenberry added. "I was extremely pleased with her hustle and work ethic today."

Brittany Wells led Wilberforce (5-11) with 20 points while Keanna Briscoe added 10 more.

Lourdes (8-12) will close out its three-game road trip on Wednesday afternoon, traveling to Grand Rapids, Mich. to battle Cornerstone. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. inside Mol Arena.
