Eighth-ranked Indiana Tech limited Lourdes to just 23.7% shooting on Saturday afternoon and defeated Lourdes 74-46 on Saturday afternoon inside the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center.

"Overall our defensive team effort was much better this game, but unfortunately we were unable to finish possession consistently," head coach
Summer Quesenberry said afterwards.  "Either our rotation was late which led to foul trouble or we would miss a box out."

Tatyana Reynolds (Toledo, Ohio/Rogers H.S.) scored 25 points, one off her season high, to account for more than half of the Lourdes offense.  The senior connected on five three-point field goals in the game.

Lourdes led early, holding a 10-7 advantage before Indiana Tech's defense shut the Gray Wolves out the final 6:43 of the opening quarter.  The Warriors scored the final 15 points of the period as part of a 19-0 run, pushing the lead to double figures for the remainder of the contest.  The Gray Wolves were within 13 following a Reynolds triple with two minutes to play before halftime, but Indiana Tech responded with the final five points to take a 40-22 lead into the locker room.

Indiana Tech broke the game open to start the third, scoring the first 11 points of the quarter, and the Warriors maintained a 22 to 32 point advantage the rest of the way.

Keanna Gary led Indiana Tech (32-2, 14-1 WHAC) with 26 points and 13 rebounds while Kendall Knapke added 17 points and Haley Cook chipped in 14 more.  The Warriors shot 40.6% from the floor to offset 14 turnovers.

LaTyrah Beasley (Toledo, Ohio/Bowsher H.S.) added eight points and a team-high 10 rebounds for Lourdes, as the Gray Wolves held a 50-48 advantage on the glass, including a 25-14 edge on the offensive end.  Lourdes committed 18 turnovers in the contest.

"We gave up too many second chance opportunities, and our turnovers, although an improvement from last game, also proved costly, as they led to 17 Indiana Tech points," Quesenberry added.

Lourdes (8-14, 2-12) returns to action on Wednesday evening, as the Gray Wolves travel to Ann Arbor, Mich. to battle Concordia (Mich.).  Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. inside of Cardinal Fieldhouse.
