Lourdes managed just 12 points on 3-of-23 shooting from its starting five on Wednesday evening, and despite 52 points from the bench, the Gray Wolves fell 84-64 to Concordia (Mich.) inside of Cardinal Fieldhouse in Ann Arbor, Mich.

The Gray Wolves shot just 32.3% from the floor on the evening, and missed all 10 of its second half three-point attempts. The offensive struggles began from the start, as Lourdes made just two of its first 13 shot attempts while falling behind 13-7 eight minutes into the contest.

Eight quick points started a 22-6 run for Lourdes, as the Gray Wolves took a 29-19 lead after a
Desmond Frazier (Ocala, Fla./Dunnellon H.S.) three-pointer with just over six minutes remaining before half. Â Lourdes would go scoreless for nearly six minutes though, and the Cardinals went on a 15-0 spurt of their own before halftime before taking a 36-31 lead into the locker room.

Concordia scored the first nine points of the second half to push the lead to double figures, 45-31, and the Gray Wolves were never able to recover. The lead stayed in double figures the final 19 minutes of the game, with the Cardinals gradually increasing the advantage late in the contest.

Frazier led Lourdes with 14 points and four steals while
Bryce McComb (Swanton, Ohio/Swanton H.S.) added eight points.
McRay White (Cleveland, Ohio/Garfield Heights H.S.) pulled down a team-high nine rebounds.

Jalen Thompson led Concordia (10-15, 5-11 WHAC) with a double-double, scoring 21 points while grabbing 10 rebounds as the Cardinals held a 43-36 advantage on the glass. Emmanuel Dominguez added 19 points as four Cardinals finished in double figures. Jared McDaniel handed out nine assists for Concordia.

Lourdes (10-14, 3-12) returns home to the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center on Saturday afternoon, as the Gray Wolves host Siena Heights. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m.
