Clif Snow (Middletown, Ohio/Middletown H.S.) and Kadeim Jones (Dayton, Ohio/Marshall H.S.) combined for 53 points on Saturday afternoon as Lourdes downed Great Lakes Christian 97-76 inside the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center.

Snow finished with his fifth double-double of the year, scoring 28 points while grabbing 12 rebounds.  The sophomore made his first eight shots from the floor and finished 10-of-13 from the field, making four three-pointers.  Jones added 25 points on 11-of-16 shooting, and had 19 points at intermission.

"Overall I'm happy with our effort today," head coach Josh Gibson said following the win.  "We got off to a slow start.  Great Lakes Christian can really shoot the ball.  I think after the first few minutes we began to make them to take some tough shots.  We got some good offensive looks as a result of our defense."

Lourdes started 6-of-7 from the floor, but still trailed early 18-16 as the Crusaders made their first five three-pointers of the contest.  An 8-0 run by the Gray Wolves put the hosts in front for good, 24-18.  Lourdes went on another 12-0 spurt late in the half, with Jones making a pair of triples and Deuce Martin (Lorain, Ohio/Clearview H.S.) adding a third as the Gray Wolves built a 53-40 lead at intermission.  Snow had a double-double by halftime with 22 points and 10 boards.

The Gray Wolves scored the first seven points out of the locker room and added another 12-0 run midway through the second half to break the game open.  Great Lakes Christian tallied an 11-2 run in the final minutes, but was unable to cut the deficit under 20 the final 10 minutes of the game.

Lourdes shot a blistering 56.5% from the floor for the game, including a 67.7% clip in the opening 20 minutes, and made 11-of-24 (45.8%) from three-point range.  The Gray Wolves also commanded the boards, with a 50-28 edge, holding a 17-4 advantage in second chance points.

Christian Wagenhauser (Sylvania, Ohio/Southview H.S.) also had his first collegiate double-double, scoring 11 points while grabbing 10 boards.  He also added five steals.

Lance Adams led Great Lakes Christian (6-4) with 17 points.

"We need to build good habits as we head back into conference play beginning Wednesday night," Gibson concluded.

Lourdes (6-3) will host Indiana Tech inside the Ebeid Rec Center on Wednesday, with tip-off set for 8 p.m.
