Series Notes: Lourdes is 20-0 all-time against Siena Heights in a series that began Feb. 14, 2012.  The Gray Wolves won all four meetings against the Saints one season ago.  Lourdes earned a pair of 3-1 triumphs during the regular season before sweeping Siena Heights twice during the Independent Group tournament.  Last season's meeting at the Ebeid Rec Center was the first visit ever for the Saints, but Lourdes is 10-0 all-time in home matches against Siena Heights.

Posting Big Numbers: Lourdes entered the tournament with only player having recorded 20 kills in a match all season, Matheus Andrade's 22-kills performance against Saint Andrews on Feb. 9.  Evan Gebert and Andrade both accomplished the feat in the same match on Friday night against Cardinal Stritch.  Gebert matched his career-high with 23 kills against the Wolves while Andrade added 20 kills, the fourth time this season he has had 18 or more in a contest.

The Offense Was Clicking: After suffering the loss to UC Merced on Friday morning, Lourdes' offense rebounded in the final three matches of the weekend.  The Gray Wolves hit better than .320 in each of the final three contests, averaging .334 for the span, while putting down 15.3 kills per set.  Matt Mittry swung at a .462 clip in the three contests while Evan Gebert averaged 4.20 kills per set and hit .407 in the three victories.
