Lourdes completed the spring break portion of its schedule on Friday evening with a 25-15, 25-23, 25-11 victory over Goshen in an exhibition match played in Gunden Gymnasium in Goshen, Ind.
 
Goshen is a club program which will be turning varsity and joining the NAIA in 2019.
 
The Gray Wolves hit .310 for the match, led by eight kills from 
Matt Mittry (Tustin, Calif./Calvary Chapel H.S.), 
Jeff Lam (Richmond, B.C./Hugh McRoberts H.S.), and 
Richado Gehrke (Blumenau, Brazil/Escola Barao Do Rio Branco).  Mittry had just 10 swings in the match, connecting at an .800 clip.
 
Lourdes limited Goshen to just .039 hitting, with Cameron Snaden leading the way with seven kills.
 
The Gray Wolves held a 31-23 dig advantage, with 
Evan Gebert (Fort Wayne, Ind./Snider H.S.) and 
Eric Ubior (Guaynabo, P.R./Wesleyan Academy) each tallying five.
 
Lourdes (17-5) returns home next Friday, March 16, to host Cincinnati Christian.  First serve is set for noon inside the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center.
