Lourdes never trailed by more than two points in any set on Saturday evening, as the Gray Wolves registered a three-set sweep of Concordia (Mich.) 25-12, 25-14, 25-19 inside of Cardinal Fieldhouse in Ann Arbor, Mich.

The Gray Wolves limited the Cardinals to just .047 hitting on the night while swinging at a .278 efficiency on offense.

"We are very happy to get a conference win on the road," head coach
Greg Reitz said afterwards. "We played well and maintained our level throughout the match. Our serve and pass was very consistent today and we were also consistent offensively."

Lourdes hit .400 in the opening set, with 15 kills on 25 swings. The Gray Wolves raced out to a 15-4 lead and never looked back, limiting Concordia to a .000 hitting mark.

The offense stayed hot in the second set, hitting .302 with 16 kills. Leading 15-11, Lourdes closed the stanza on a 10-3 run.

The third was the closest of the three sets, but five straight points early allowed Lourdes to build a 7-4 advantage, a lead the Gray Wolves would not relinquish the rest of the night.

Monique Oliviera (Rio Branco, Brazil/Americo Rene Giannetti H.S.) delivered a double-double with a team-high 14 kills while adding 13 digs defensively.Â
Tylar Roberson (Elkhart, Ind./Central H.S.) added 11 kills while
Carol Goncalves (Brazilia, Brazil/Sagrado Corcacao de Maria H.S.) handed out 40 assists.Â
Angelica Dippold (Louisville, Ky./Mercy Academy) aided the offense from the service line with three of the team's 10 aces.

Niki Polce (New Boston, Mich./Huron H.S.) led the defense with 19 digs while
Evan Matheson (Fallon, Nev./Churchill County H.S.) tallied five blocks to go along with seven kills and a .545 hitting night.

Gabrielle den Boer led Concordia (1-8, 0-4 WHAC) with seven kills while Tara Schatzle had 15 digs for the Cardinals.

Lourdes (6-1, 3-1) concludes its four-match road trip on Wednesday evening, traveling to Livonia, Mich. to battle 19
