Darius Passley-Bennett (Wimbledon, England/Petchey Academy) registered his second hat trick of the season on Saturday afternoon as Lourdes snapped a four-match losing skid with a 3-0 victory over Rochester (Mich.) inside of Ultimate Soccer Arena in Pontiac, Mich.
Ali Chokr (Bint Jbail, Lebanon H.S.) stopped all four shots he faced in goal to earn his second shutout of the season as the Gray Wolves registered their first Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference victory of the season.

Passley-Bennett put Lourdes in front midway through the opening half after receiving a cross from
Farouk Amoo (South Holland, Ill./Thornwood H.S.). The Gray Wolves took the 1-0 lead into halftime, outshooting the Warriors 9-4 in the opening 45 minutes.
Josh Varney (Brownstown, Mich./Woodhaven H.S.) handed out his third assist of the season on Passley-Bennett's second goal. Varney beat a defender down the line before sending a cross into the box.
The Gray Wolves' third goal resulted from a set piece.
Brendon Long (Cave Creek, Ariz./Cactus Shadows H.S.) took a free kick that Passley-Bennett redirected in the box for his team-leading sixth goal of the season.
Lourdes outshot Rochester 15-8 for the match, including 7-4 on goal, and held an 8-7 advantage in corner kick opportunities. Sam Manuvelpillai made four saves in goal for Rochester (2-6-1, 0-3 WHAC) in the loss.
Lourdes (3-7, 1-2) will return home on Wednesday evening to begin a three-match homestand. The Gray Wolves welcome Cleary to Wildcat Stadium for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
