Final Results
With a limited squad Lourdes picked up three individual victories on Saturday as the Gray Wolves competed at the Baldwin Wallace Invitational inside of Urspring Gymnasium in Berea, Ohio.

The event was not scored, with 11 different schools taking part in the competition.

"The Baldwin Wallace Invitational is a quality early season tournament for us," head coach
Dock Kelly III said after the meet. "We had several guys out due to sickness and injury. However, I am proud of the effort that our wrestlers exhibited today. We have identified some areas that we need to work on so we will continue to focus on getting better until we begin to see our desired results on the wrestling mat."

Flynn Hamilton (Tucker, Ga./Tucker H.S.) picked up his first victory of the season to advance to the quarterfinals at 157 pounds with a major decision over Baldwin Wallace's Nicholas Sbrocco, 16-3 before falling in his next two contests.

Greg Briggs (Seville, Ohio/Cloverleaf H.S.) won his first match as a Gray Wolf, registering a tech fall over Bradley Collins of Defiance by the score of 16-1. He then fell in a pair of decisions, the second in the consolation round in tie-breaker one.

Avery Smith (Amanda, Ohio/Clearcreek H.S.) also earned a victory while making his collegiate debut on Saturday. He pinned Jacob Blackburn of Thiel just 1:14 into his opening round match before falling in his next two contests.

Lourdes will return to the mat on Sunday as the Gray Wolves take part in the John Carroll Duals. Action begins at 10 a.m. as the Gray Wolves face Penn State Behrend inside of the Decarlo Varsity Center in University Heights, Ohio. Lourdes will also face Urbana (11:30 a.m.), Pittsburgh-Bradford (2:30 p.m.), and host John Carroll (4 p.m.).
