For the second consecutive game, and third time this season, Lourdes knocked off a NAIA top-25 opponent, defeating 21
st-ranked Union (Ky.) on Saturday afternoon 64-62 at the NAIA DII Classic "The Show" held inside the Meadowview Marriott Resort in Kingsport, Tenn.

Dennis Hopson said following the game. "I am proud of our growth and super excited moving forward."

Nick Welch (Temperance, Mich./Saint Mary Catholic Central H.S.) tallied 15 points while
Kenny Coleman (Toledo, Ohio/Saint Francis de Sales H.S.) added 12 points off the bench while recording four steals.Â
Clif Snow (Middletown, Ohio/Middletown H.S.) just missed a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds.

The game saw 11 ties and 20 lead changes, with the Gray Wolves tying the game at 62 with one minute to play on a three-pointer by Snow. Welch then split a pair of free throws 25 seconds later to put Lourdes in front for good.

Coleman registered a steal with 13 seconds remaining as the Bulldogs were trying to tie or take the lead. After a Lourdes miscue with eight seconds to play,
Little Anderson (Toledo, Ohio/Cardinal Stritch H.S.) blocked a shot and Coleman made one of two free throws with four seconds left. Union's last second three-point attempt missed the mark as the Gray Wolves registered another upset win.

Lourdes led by as many as five in the first half, 21-16, midway through the stanza before the two teams went into the locker room tied at 30. The Gray Wolves built a 45-40 lead with 11:26 to play in the second half before a 13-5 run by the Bulldogs gave Union a 53-49 advantage with six minutes remaining. Lourdes clawed back, tying the game on Snow's triple before pulling out the win.

The Gray Wolves shot 44.4% from the floor, but made just 11-of-26 (42.3%) free throws while Union (6-4) connected at a 41.5% clip while making 12-of-24 (50%) from the charity stripe.

Lourdes (6-3) will return to the court on Sunday morning to battle Rio Grande in the final game of the event. Tip-off is set for 11 a.m.
