Lourdes began Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play on Saturday evening, suffering a 73-42 setback to Concordia (Mich.) inside of Cardinal Fieldhouse in Ann Arbor, Mich.

The Gray Wolves shot just 28.9% from the floor and committed 25 turnovers on the evening while Concordia connected at a 50% clip, including making 10 three-pointers.

Concordia jumped out to a 23-8 lead after the opening period and maintained the 15-point advantage at halftime, 37-22. The Cardinals then outscored Lourdes by eight more points in each of the final two stanzas.

Mirandia Green (Toledo, Ohio/Whitmer H.S.) led Lourdes with nine points while
Baylee Baldwin (Ottawa Lake, Mich./Whiteford H.S.) added eight more. Green also pulled down a team-high seven rebounds as the Gray Wolves were outboarded 36-30 on the night.

J'may Simmons led Concordia (3-2, 1-0 WHAC) with 12 points while Katie Snow added 11 more.
