Lourdes hit .436 for the evening and committed just seven attack errors over the three sets on Tuesday night as the Gray Wolves defeated Erskine 25-20, 25-15, 25-12 inside of Belk Arena in Due West, S.C.

The Gray Wolves put down 41 kills in the three sets, led by 13 from
Jeff Lam (Richmond, B.C./Hugh McRoberts H.S.), who hit .458 on the night.Â
Stefan Albrecht (Euclid, Ohio/Middletown [Wis.] H.S.) added 12 kills while hitting .435.Â
Henrique Gehrke (Blumenau, Brazil/Escola Barao do Rio Branco H.S.) dished out 33 assists.

"I was very happy with our play tonight," head coach
Greg Reitz said afterwards. "We were very efficient offensively and it was one of our best showings of the season."

Lam also registered six service aces while posting a match-high nine digs defensively. Albrecht added seven digs.

The opening set was tied at 16 when Lourdes went on a 9-4 run to close the stanza and take the early lead in the match.  The Gray Wolves hit .560 with 15 kills and just one error in the second to offset a .440 hitting percentage from the Flying Fleet, including 13 kills. Lourdes raced out to a 9-3 lead in the set to build the 2-0 advantage.

In the third, the Gray Wolves limited Erskine to just six kills. Lourdes took an 8-1 lead and pushed the advantage to 18-6 on the way to the sweep.

Josh Arrowood led Erskine (5-13) with nine kills while Hector Collazo added seven digs.

Lourdes (15-2) will close out its road trip of four matches in four nights on Wednesday evening, traveling to Gaffney, S.C. to face Limestone. First serve is set for 6 p.m. inside of the Timken Center as the Gray Wolves look to match their school-record 12 match winning streak.
