All 12 position players that saw action on Saturday afternoon scored for Lourdes as the Gray Wolves opened up Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference action with a 22-1 triumph over Rochester (Mich.) at Wildcat Stadium.
 
"I am really proud of my entire team today," head coach Alyssa Shaver said.  "This was a team win in which everyone contributed."
 
Lourdes jumped out to a 9-0 lead less than 12 minutes into the contest and had built a 13-1 advantage by intermission behind three first half goals from both Hannah Merrick (South Lyon, Mich./East H.S.) and Bella D'Arcy (Hartland, Mich./Hartland H.S.).
 
The Gray Wolves were able to pitch a shutout in the second half, and did not allow the Warriors to get off a single shot attempt over the final 30 minutes in cruising to the win.  Lourdes finished the game with a 52-6 advantage in shots overall.
 
Merrick finished the game with four goals while D'Arcy and Tiara Reed (Maumee, Ohio/Anthony Wayne H.S.) added three goals each.  D'Arcy also had a pair of assists for a five-point game along with Merrick.
 
Brianna Budd (Toledo, Ohio/Saint Ursula H.S.) scored her first two collegiate goals while Lexi Hunt (Cape May, N.J./Lower Cape May H.S.) and Emiliana Taylor (Granger, Ind./Saint Joseph H.S.) each scored their first career goals on the afternoon as well.
 
Reed won six draw controls and caused four turnovers defensively while D'Arcy had a team-high five ground balls.  Jacque Pappadakes (Rocky River, Ohio/Rocky River H.S.) made four saves in goal for the victory.
 
Lauren Weiss scored the lone goal for Rochester (0-2, 0-2 WHAC) while Rebekah Sewell made 16 saves in goal.
 
Lourdes (4-6, 1-0) will return to the road on Wednesday afternoon as the Gray Wolves face Lawrence Tech.  The opening draw is set for 4 p.m. at Harrison High School in Farmington, Mich.
