Upcoming in Gray Wolves Volleyball: The final week of the regular season has arrived for Lourdes and with it the Gray Wolves will play four home matches. Â The Gray Wolves conclude WHAC play hosting Siena Heights on Wednesday before hosting Charleston (W. Va.), Campbellsville, and Cardinal Stritch over the weekend in the Lourdes Invitational.
On the Air: Wednesday's match against Siena Heights will be broadcast live on BCSN as part of Buckeye Broadband. Â In addition, BCSN will re-air the match Thursday at 9:30 a.m. and Saturday at 1:30 a.m. Â BCSN2 will show the match Thursday at 1 p.m., Friday at 7:30 a.m., and Saturday at 4:30 a.m.
Head Coach Greg Reitz: In his eighth season both on the Lourdes bench, and overall coaching men's volleyball,
Greg Reitz has a 153-62 (.712) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves. Â He has earned five conference Coach of the Year honors during his first seven seasons at Lourdes. Â He is the only head coach in program history.
Series Notes: Lourdes is 22-1 all-time against Siena Heights dating back to Feb. 14, 2012. Â The Gray Wolves won the first meeting of the season in straight sets on Feb. 27 in Adrian, Mich. Â Lourdes is 2-0 against the Saints inside the Ebeid Rec Center and 11-0 all-time in all home matches. Â Lourdes will be meeting both Charleston (W. Va.) and Campbellsville for the first time this weekend. Â The Gray Wolves are 9-6 all-time against Cardinal Stritch dating back to Jan. 27, 2012. Â Last season Lourdes won the lone meeting against the Wolves in four sets inside the Ebeid Rec Center.Â

Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes cruised to a 25-16, 25-15, 25-20 victory over Goshen at home on Wednesday night. Â
Jeff Lam hit .417 with 15 kills while
Ricardo Gehrke added 13 kills, hitting .400. Â
Matheus Andrade led the defense with 12 digs. Â On Friday, the Gray Wolves swept sixth-ranked Aquinas 25-19, 25-22, 25-23. Â Gehrke and
Evan Gebert each had 12 kills while Andrade tallied 11 digs.
Scouting Siena Heights: The Saints have won four straight matches after downing Judson in straight sets on Saturday. Â Alex Garavalia leads the team with 228 kills and is hitting .204 while Keegan Crawford has handed out 772 assists. Â Emilier De Jesus has a team-high 30 service aces and 275 digs while Emmanuel Chaidez has tallied 85 blocks.
Scouting Charleston (W. Va.): The Golden Eagles have dropped three straight contests after being swept by NJIT Saturday at home. Â Max Senica leads Charleston with 146 kills and is hitting .249 while Diego Villafane has handed out 428 assists. Â Brandon Greenway leads the way with 24 service aces. Â Defensively, Senica has a team-high 100 digs while Eugene Stuart has 74 blocks.
Scouting Campbellsville: The Tigers enter the week having won 11 straight after defeating Bluefield in straight sets on March 20. Â Rafael Cruz has a team-high 217 kills and hits .230 while Jeremy Hernandez has handed out 513 assists. Â Jason Camacho has a team-leading 29 service aces while defensively, Joudiel Poveymirow leads the team with 276 digs and Nils Kleinschmidt has tallied 42 blocks.
Scouting Cardinal Stritch: The Wolves enter the week having won three straight after defeating Robert Morris (Ill.) in four sets on Saturday. Â Trent Sellers has recorded a team-high 274 kills and hits .242 while tallying 43 service aces. Â Blake Janz has handed out 691 assists. Â Defensively, Zach Bohmann has registered 173 digs while Trey Hunter has 80 blocks.
Thanks Seniors: Prior to the final match of the Lourdes Invitational on Saturday against Cardinal Stritch, Lourdes will honor its three seniors,
Lance Blough,
Brendan Brown, and
Isaiah Williams.
Capturing a WHAC Title: Lourdes has clinched the first Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference title in league history, the Gray Wolves' third regular season league crown in program history. Â Lourdes will host the WHAC tournament April 5-6 as the top seed.
Lam and Gehrke Earn WHAC Honors: Jeff Lam garnered his second straight WHAC Attacker of the Week accolade while
Henrique Gehrke has been named the WHAC Setter of the Week for the fourth time in his career. Â Lam hit .419 with 4.17 kills per set in two matches last week while adding 3.00 digs per set. Â Gehrke dished out 13.50 assists per set.
Record Book Watch: Evan Gebert has moved into second place on the school's career kills list with 858. Â He only trails
Frank Craig's (2012-2015) 1,002 kills. Â Gebert also has moved into third all-time with 60 service aces, two fewer than second place
Eric Ubior (2015-2018). Â
Henrique Gehrke is second all-time with 1,410 career assists, trailing
Ryan Ferkel's (2014-2017) 2,282 assists. Â
Brendan Brown is second all-time with 284 blocks, behind Craig's career total of 315.
This and That: Lourdes has not been swept in a match since Feb. 23, 2018 against UC Merced, a span of 34 matches ... the Gray Wolves have won 15 consecutive home matches inside the Ebeid Rec Center.
