Set Streak Comes to an End: Lourdes had recorded five straight sweeps prior to being forced to four sets against Aquinas last Friday.  The Gray Wolves had won 18 consecutive sets dating back to Feb. 3 against Quincy, a span of nearly a month.  On the season, Lourdes has dropped just nine total sets, six of which came in back-to-back losses against McKendree and Lindenwood.

Nearing 150: Lourdes enters the week having won 147 matches all-time since the program was founded in 2012.  Head coach Greg Reitz has been on the bench for all 147 triumphs.  The Gray Wolves have won more than 70% of their contests all-time.

Sweeping the WHAC Awards: For the second time this season Lourdes swept the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference's weekly awards.  Evan Gebert was named the league's Attacker of the Week while Henrique Gehrke earned Setter of the Week honors.  Matheus Andrade garnered WHAC Defender of the Week honors as well.

Double Trouble: Three of Lourdes six starters recorded double-doubles at Siena Heights after the Gray Wolves had just three double-doubles as a team all season prior to the match.  Ricardo Gehrke recorded his team-leading third double-double with 11 kills and 10 digs while his brother Henrique Gehrke added 39 assists and 11 digs for his second of the season.  Jeff Lam registered his first collegiate double-double with 14 kills and 10 digs.

Highest Ranking Ever: Lourdes remained ranked second in the latest NAIA Top-10 Coaches Poll.  The ranking matches the highest national ranking ever for the Gray Wolf men's volleyball program.

Making Quick Work: Lourdes has yet to play a five-set match this season, having last played a contest that went the distance on April 17, 2018 in the first match of pool play at the NAIA National Invitational.  The Gray Wolves have swept their way to victory in eight of their 11 triumphs this year.

Quarterbacking the Offense: Henrique Gehrke leads the NAIA handing out 11.41 assists per set this season.  The Gray Wolves' sophomore setter has led Lourdes to a .396 hitting percentage as a team, a mark that ranks third nationally.

Playing Defense as Well: Lourdes has outdug all 13 of its opponents thus far this season, holding a 488-363 overall edge in that statistical category.  The Gray Wolves' 11.09 digs per set ranks fifth in the NAIA this season.  Matheus Andrade is fifth individually in digs per set nationally, registering 3.20 per stanza.

Record Book Watch: Evan Gebert has moved into second place on the school's career kills list with 810.  He only trails Frank Craig's (2012-2015) 1,002 kills.  Gebert also has moved into third all-time with 54 service aces, eight fewer than second place Eric Ubior (2015-2018).  In just his second season, Henrique Gehrke has moved into second all-time with 1,187 career assists.  He trails just Ryan Ferkel's (2014-2017) 2,282 assists.  Brendan Brown is second all-time with 266 career blocks, trailing only Craig's career total of 315.

This and That: Lourdes has not been swept in a match since Feb. 23, 2018 against UC Merced, a span of 28 matches ... the Gray Wolves are undefeated this season when tallying more kills and blocks than their opponents ... Lourdes will face three NCAA Division II opponents on its current road trip.
