On the same day Lourdes moved up one spot to 13
th in the latest NAIA Top-25 poll, the Gray Wolves were upset on the road at Lawrence Tech 71-64 on Wednesday night inside of Ridler Field House in Southfield, Mich.

"Lawrence Tech was the tougher team and we didn't play with the right energy early," head coach
Dennis Hopson said afterwards. "We have to approach every game like it's our last."

The Blue Devils jumped in front early, building a 21-9 lead at the 8:21 mark of the opening half. The Gray Wolves' bench responded, accounting for all 10 points in a 10-0 run to pull within two with under six minutes remaining in the opening stanza.

Lourdes kept the game close and tied the game at 29 just before halftime on a layup by
Tyler Davis (Pontiac, Mich./West Bloomfield H.S.). Davis, who entered the game with seven points on the season, scored all eight of his on the evening in the opening half.

A 9-0 run early in the second half, capped with a lay-in by
Julian Egbo (Toledo, Ohio/Rogers H.S.) put Lourdes in front 38-32 with less than 17 minutes to play in the game. Lawrence Tech battled back, and the game was tied at 49 with eight minutes remaining.

The Blue Devils scored the next four points, taking the lead for good. The Gray Wolves were within two, 57-55, with four minutes to play but Lawrence Tech made nine free throws in the final 1:30 to hold on for the win.

Kenny Coleman (Toledo, Ohio/Saint Francis de Sales H.S.),
Clif Snow (Middletown, Ohio/Middletown H.S.), and
Deuce Martin (Lorain, Ohio/Clearview H.S.) led Lourdes with 10 points each as the Gray Wolves shot 41.5% from the floor.Â

Jordan Henry made six three-pointers off the bench and led Lawrence Tech (8-9, 3-7 WHAC) with 26 points.

Lourdes will look to bounce back on Saturday afternoon as the Gray Wolves host Indiana Tech. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m. inside of the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center.
