Lourdes had four players score in double figures for the second straight game as the Gray Wolves snapped a five-game losing skid on Wednesday evening with a 67-51 victory over the University of Northwestern Ohio inside of the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center.

Mary Liedel (Erie, Mich./Mason H.S.) and
Mirandia Green (Toledo, Ohio/Whitmer H.S.) both registered double-doubles. Liedel finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds while Green tallied 10 points and 10 boards.Â
Sara Semler (Toledo, Ohio/Whitmer H.S.) led all scorers with 13 points for the Gray Wolves while
Riley Raburn (Horton, Mich./Lumen Christi H.S.) matched her career high with 12 points.

The Gray Wolves held Northwestern Ohio to just 28.1% shooting for the game, yielding just two field goals in both the second and fourth quarters.

After the two schools played an even opening period, Lourdes closed the second stanza on a 15-4 run over the final six minutes to build a 33-22 halftime advantage behind 11 points from Semler, who was a perfect 4-for-4 from the floor in the opening 20 minutes.

Seven straight points in the third quarter allowed the Gray Wolves to extend its lead to 16, 43-27, and Lourdes maintained a double figure lead the rest of the way. The advantage grew to as many as 22, 67-45, in the fourth quarter before the Racers scored the game's final six points.

Lourdes shot 44.1% from the floor for the evening and held a 26-8 scoring advantage in the pain. The Gray Wolves also outrebounded the Racers 47-34 and only allowed Northwestern Ohio to score turnovers points off Lourdes turnovers.

Kimyra McGhee led Northwestern Ohio (5-12, 2-6 WHAC) with 15 points while Tori Lennartz added 12 points.

Lourdes (4-12, 3-6) moved the Racers into eighth place in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference standings. The Gray Wolves return to the road on Saturday afternoon to face Rochester (Mich.). Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. inside of Garth Pleasant Arena in Rochester Hills, Mich.
