Lourdes took a one-goal lead into halftime on Tuesday evening, but Olivet Nazarene responded with three second half goals to defeat the Gray Wolves 3-1 at Wildcat Stadium in the fall non-conference finale for Lourdes.

Olivet Nazarene (1-0) had the first chances of the game, sending a pair of shots off the goal post in the first 25minutes of the match, but the Tigers were unable to crack the scoreboard.

The Gray Wolves struck first, as
Anthony Samuel (Chaguanas, Trinidad & Tobago/Chaguanas H.S.) won the end line near the corner and sent a pass across the goal area to
Savio Adams (Cape Town, South Africa/Zeekoevlei H.S.) who took the cross in front of the keeper and rifled the ball into the back of the net for his third goal of the season at the 30:39 mark.

In the second half Olivet Nazarene controlled the play, outshooting Lourdes 12-3 to finish the match with a 20-10 shot advantage. The Tigers tied the contest with just over 30 minutes to play in the contest as Max Jasper scored on a rebound following Edgar Pani's shot that was saved.

Daniel Kasagoma put the Tigers in front just over four minutes later. Justin Eisenmann sent a lead pass through the middle of the field to Kasaggoma who scored on the breakaway. Following a Lourdes foul with 19 seconds remaining, Jasper concluded the scoring with a penalty kick for the final margin.

Garrett Baxley (Trenton, Ohio/Edgewood H.S.) made seven saves in net for the Gray Wolves while Mike Giannota made one stop for the Tigers. Olivet Nazarene finished with a 5-4 edge in corner kick opportunities as well.

Lourdes (3-3) will return to Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play on Saturday as the Gray Wolves travel to Southfield, Mich. to battle Lawrence Tech. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Blue Devils Stadium.
