Due to the increase in COVID-19 positive cases and the large number of students currently in quarantine, Lourdes University is suspending athletic competitions effective immediately with plans to hopefully resume competitions after Thanksgiving weekend.

The suspension of competitions affects men's and women's basketball, men's and women's bowling, and women's wrestling, all of whom had games during the time period.

Lourdes will work with the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference regarding rescheduling of league games affected during this time frame with make-up dates to be announced at a future time.

Practices for teams not in season have also been suspended at this time.

These measures are taking place for the safety and well-being of the student-athletes, the Lourdes community as a whole, as well as the surrounding areas.
