Playing a third game in four days, Lourdes saw its school-record four-game winning streak come to an end on Saturday, as the Gray Wolves fell 85-67 to 14
th-ranked Siena Heights inside of SHU Fieldhouse in Adrian, Mich.

The Saints jumped out to a 14-3 lead just over three minutes into the game and never relinquished their lead. Siena Heights continued building its lead throughout the second quarter, leading by as many as 23 points before taking a 51-29 lead into the locker room.

Lourdes tried to climb back into the game in the third, pulling to within 15 by the period's end, and was as close as 13, 72-59, at the 8:35 mark of the fourth, but was unable to get any closer.

Mary Liedel (Erie, Mich./Mason H.S.) led Lourdes with 15 points while
Mirandia Green (Toledo, Ohio/Whitmer H.S.) added 13 more.Â
Sirena Pitts (Orlando, Fla./Ocoee H.S.) contributed 12 points off the bench. Lourdes committed just nine turnovers, but shot only 36.5% from the floor for the game.

Demi Russell led Siena Heights (22-2, 14-1 WHAC) with 28 points while Peyton Banks added 18 points and 13 rebounds. Kiana Votava also had a double-double for the Saints with 12 points and 12 boards as Siena Heights held a 44-32 advantage on the glass.

Lourdes (8-16, 5-10) will return home to the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center on Wednesday evening as the Gray Wolves host Michigan-Dearborn. Tip is set for 8 p.m.
