Lourdes shot just 25.4% from the floor on Saturday afternoon and saw its two-game winning streak snapped as the Gray Wolves fell 79-59 to Rochester (Mich.) inside the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center.

The Gray Wolves committed just eight turnovers and forced 14 from the Warriors, but Rochester used the first and third quarters to pull away.

Rochester pulled in front with a 15-3 run in the opening quarter to lead 24-9, as the Warriors made eight of their first nine shots from the field. Still trailing by 15, 35-20, with 4:13 remaining before intermission, Lourdes went on a 14-3 spurt to close to within four before Rochester scored in the final seconds of the half to take a 40-34 lead into the locker room.

Eight straight points out of the break allowed Rochester to retake a double figure lead as the Warriors went on a 20-3 run to begin the quarter. Lourdes was held without a field goal the entire period, but made 11-of-12 from the free throw line.

Trailing by 23 to begin the fourth, Lourdes scored the first seven points of the final quarter to pull with 68-52, but would not get any closer the rest of the way.

Addie Conroy (Cleveland, Ohio/Padua Franciscan H.S.) led Lourdes with a career-high 13 points, her first double figure scoring game of her collegiate career.Â
Mirandia Green (Toledo, Ohio/Whitmer H.S.) added eight points.

Lexey Tobel led Rochester (11-17, 9-9 WHAC) with 21 points while Devan Valko added 15 points and eight rebounds as the Warriors outrebounded the Gray Wolves 43-32 on the night.

Lourdes (10-18, 6-12) will close out the home portion of the schedule on Wednesday evening as the Gray Wolves entertain Lawrence Tech. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. inside the Ebeid Rec Center with Senior Night activities taking place prior to the game.
