Lourdes honored their seven seniors on Sunday prior to the game with Siena Heights and then celebrated on the court with a 78-57 victory over the Saints inside the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center.

Julian Egbo (Toledo, Ohio/Rogers H.S.) led the Gray Wolves with 18 points and eight rebounds while
Clif Snow (Middletown, Ohio/Middletown H.S.) and
Brett Lauf (Napoleon, Ohio/Napoleon H.S.) tallied 13 points each.

"This was a great bounce back game for us," head coach
Dennis Hopson said following the win. "We didn't shoot the ball well from three, but we got 46 points in the paint and grabbed 48 rebounds."

An early 8-0 run allowed the Gray Wolves to open up a 17-7 lead less than nine minutes into the contest. Lourdes closed the half with the final five points to take a 35-20 lead into the locker room despite shooting just 32.5% from the floor and going 0-for-12 from beyond the arc.

Lourdes put the game away midway through the second half with a 11-4 spurt to push the advantage to 23, 65-42, with 5:52 to play in the contest. The Gray Wolves would not allow the Saints any closer than 19 the rest of the way.

The Gray Wolves shot 50% from the field in the second half, including 7-of-13 (53.8%) from three-point range, and committed just five total turnovers on the day. Lourdes posted a 48-31 edge on the glass, grabbing 17 offensive rebounds, converting the opportunities into 19 second chance points.

Kevin Rice led Siena Heights (1-8, 1-7 WHAC) with 16 points.

Lourdes (7-3, 5-1) continues its busy stretch of games on Tuesday evening, heading to Grand Rapids, Mich. to battle Cornerstone. Tip-off is slated for 7:30 p.m. inside of Mol Arena.
