Competing for the final time before the league championships, Lourdes defeated Siena Heights 83.75-72.35 in dual meet action held inside the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center on Tuesday evening.
"I thought this was a solid performance tonight," head coach
Chelsea Leis said afterwards.
The Gray Wolves had three minor deductions for a total of 0.75 points on the evening while Siena Heights registered 1.5 points worth of deductions.
"We will work to clean up our tumbling sections this week," Leis added. We look to build upon this routine come Saturday."
Lourdes will return to the mat on Saturday afternoon for the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Championships. Action begins at 4 p.m. inside of Cardinal Fieldhouse in Ann Arbor, Mich. for the event hosted by Concordia (Mich.).
