Noah Childress' (Toledo, Ohio/Start H.S.) two-out single in the bottom of the ninth of game two gave Lourdes a 6-5 victory over Aquinas and a split of Saturday's doubleheader at Mercy Field after the Saints won the opener 6-0.
The walk-off is the third for the Gray Wolves already in this young season.
"It was a great way to bounce back after a loss in the opener," head coach

The Saints plated one in the fifth and tied the game in the sixth, setting the stage for the late inning dramatics. In the ninth,
Cord Noble (Rockford, Mich./Rockford H.S.) registered a pinch-hit double before
Ryan Jagodzinski (Perrysburg, Ohio/Rossford H.S.) pinch ran.
Jay Denman (Toledo, Ohio/Saint Francis de Sales H.S.) was intentionally walked before Childress singled to right with two outs to win the game.
