Corey Righman (Ashville, Ohio/Teays Valley H.S.) hit a grand slam and
Noah Childress (Toledo, Ohio/Start H.S.) had four hits but Huntington plated at least two runs in every inning on Tuesday and defeated Lourdes 21-9 at Forest Glen Park in Huntington, Ind.

Childress hit his 12
th home run of the season to open the scoring in the top of the first before the Foresters plated two runs in each of the first three frames. Righman then hit a grand slam, his second round-tripper of the season, in the fourth to pull the Gray Wolves within one.

Huntington (28-13) again scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the fourth before Lourdes answered with two more of its own. Childress singled
Joey Oehlers (Lambertville, Mich./Bedford H.S.) and eventually scored himself on a wild pitch to make it an 8-7 game.

The Foresters scored four times in both the fifth and sixth innings to break the game open before adding two more in the seventh and three in the eighth.

With two outs in the ninth, Childress singled home
Jay Denman (Toledo, Ohio/Saint Francis de Sales H.S.) and scored two batters later on a RBI hit by
Devin Rooks (Toledo, Ohio/Whitmer H.S.) to complete the scoring.

In addition to Childress' four hits, Righman and
Brad Ammons (Holland, Ohio/Springfield H.S.) each had two as the Gray Wolves banged out 11 for the afternoon.

Lourdes (15-26) heads to Adrian, Mich. on Saturday afternoon for a doubleheader against Siena Heights. First pitch in game one is set for 1 p.m. at the SHU Baseball Diamond.
