Upcoming in Gray Wolves Lacrosse: After more than a week off, Lourdes returns to action with three games in a six-day span.  The Gray Wolves host eighth-ranked Concordia (Mich.) on Wednesday evening before entertaining Aquinas on Saturday for Senior Day.  Lourdes returns to the road on Monday night, heading to Bethel (Ind.) for a make-up contest.

Head Coach Sierra Wagoner: In her first season on the Lourdes sidelines, Sierra Wagoner has a 0-2 (.000) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves and as a collegiate head coach.  Wagoner is the fourth head coach in the program's history.

Series Notes: Lourdes holds a 3-1 series edge against Concordia (Mich.) dating back to March 25, 2017.  The Cardinals won the last meeting between the two schools in 2019, 12-8, at Wildcat Stadium, where the series is tied 1-1.  Aquinas holds a 6-3 edge against the Gray Wolves in a series that began March 22, 2014.  Lourdes won the last meeting between the two schools in 2019, 16-5, at Wildcat Stadium, where the Gray Wolves hold a 2-1 series edge.  Lourdes is 2-0 all-time against Bethel (Ind.) in a series that began March 15, 2018.  The Gray Wolves won the last meeting 14-8 in Mishawaka, Ind. in 2019, Lourdes only previous trip to Bethel.

Wrapping Up Last Week (Or Two Weeks Ago): The Gray Wolves returned to the field for the first time in two years on March 26, falling 23-0 at home to 10th-ranked Siena Heights.  Jacque Pappadakes made 13 saves for Lourdes.  On March 29, Lourdes dropped a 21-2 decision at Cleary.  Lexi Hunt scored a pair of goals while Pappadakes made 13 more stops for the Gray Wolves.

Scouting Concordia (Mich.): The Cardinals have won three straight games after defeating Bethel (Ind.) 24-4 at home on Friday (April 2).  Alyssa Lundy leads Concordia with 16 goals and has 22 total points.  Cassandra Allard leads the Cardinals with 23 points and 11 assists while scoring 12 times.  In goal, Amanda Archer sports an  8.68 goals against average and a .350 save percentage.

Scouting Aquinas: The Saints are coming off a 17-13 win over Cleary on Friday (April 2).  Cierra Davis leads Aquinas with 13 goals, nine assists, and 22 points.  Kennadie Minerich has scored nine times while Naomi Plant has eight assists and 16 total points.  Azariah Wells has posted a 12.80 goals against average and a .508 save percentage this season.

Scouting Bethel (Ind.): The Pilots have dropped back-to-back games after falling 24-4 at Concordia (Mich.) on Friday (April 2).  Bethel hosts Indiana Tech on Wednesday and heads to Madonna on Saturday before facing Lourdes.  Sarah Konecny leads Bethel with 42 points,  having scored 28 goals and handed out 14 assists.  In goal, Samantha Swope has a 14.89 goals against average and a .340 save percentage.

Thanks Seniors: Lourdes will honor seven seniors prior to the game on Saturday against Aquinas.  The Gray Wolves will recognize Katherine Garver, Ariel Hostuttler, Jenna Lewandowski, Erin Manley, Jacque Pappadakes, Emiliana Taylor, and Tiffany Vance.

Making Saves: Jacque Pappadakes ranks second in program history with 184 career saves for Lourdes.  The Gray Wolf netminder is 304 saves behind school record-holder Kiley Ketteman (2015-2018), who made 488 saves while at Lourdes.

Stepping Up on Defense: Emiliana Taylor and Erin Manley have spearheaded the Gray Wolf defense thus far this year.  Taylor has a team-leading five ground balls, giving her 39 in her four years at Lourdes.  Manley has caused a team-leading four turnovers in her first season.

Hunt Finds the Net Twice: After scoring just one goal while playing primarily as a defender in 2019, Lexi Hunt found the back of the net twice for the Gray Wolves at Cleary.  Hunt leads the Gray Wolves with three total shot attempts.

Lourdes has a trio of captains this season.  Serving in the leadership role are Lexi Hunt, Jacque Pappadakes, and Emiliana Taylor.

This and That: Lourdes faces its second NAIA top-15 opponent of the season against Concordia (Mich.) on Wednesday ... the Gray Wolves have never defeated a ranked foe (0-47) ... 12 different Gray Wolves have made their program debut on the field for Lourdes this season.
