Lourdes split four matches on Saturday afternoon, defeating Williams Baptist 47-9 and Brewton-Parker 44-10 while falling to No. 18 Lindsey Wilson 30-7 and No. 11 Campbellsville 36-9 at the Campbellsville Duals inside of Gosser Gymnasium in Campbellsville, Ky.

"This was a great opportunity for us to put ourselves on the map nationally, competing against ranked opponents," head coach
Dock Kelly III said afterwards. "Our two team losses were to quality ranked opponents and we will learn from our mistakes."

In the opening match against Williams Baptist, Lourdes was in control from the start.Â
Trevor Hisey (St. Marys, Ohio/Memorial H.S.) earned a fall midway through the second period at 125 before
Cole McKinley (Sylvania, Ohio/Northview H.S.) was awarded a win via forfeit at 133.

Williams Baptist won a decision at 141 and by forfeit at 149 to even the match before it was all Gray Wolves.Â
Derick Coleman (Clyde, Ohio/Clyde H.S.) and
Tommy Mabry (St. Marys, Ohio/Memorial H.S.) notched back-to-back pins at 157 and 165 before
Noah Clary (Upper Sandusky, Ohio/Upper Sandusky H.S.) won by forfeit at 174.

William Speight (Bedford, Ohio/Bedford H.S.) ended his match with 18 seconds left in the opening period after scoring a 22-4 tech fall at 184 pounds.Â
Carter Kroll (Ontario, Ohio/Ontario H.S.) and
Joe Dreisbach (White Lake, Mich./Walled Lake Northern H.S.) closed out the match with a pair of first period falls at 197 and 285 pounds respectively.

Against Lindsey Wilson, Coleman earned his second win of the day with a 9-1 major decision at 157 pounds while Kroll scored an 8-4 decision at the 197 slot. The Blue Raiders picked up three major decisions and four decisions to take the match though.Â

Facing host Campbellsville, McKinley downed 20
th-ranked Cameron Henderson at 133 with a pin at the 3:44 mark in the second period. Speight also earned a victory in the dual, scoring a 10-3 decision over 10
th-ranked Curtis Thomas. A pair of falls and a tech fall helped the host Tigers earn the win though.

In the finale against Brewton-Parker,
Tyler Hisey (St. Marys, Ohio/Memorial H.S.) was credited with a forfeit win to start the match at 125 before McKinley added his second pin of the day, needing just 1:49 to record the fall. After falling at 141 and 149, Coleman notched his third win of the day with a pin at the 1:35 mark of his 157-pound bout.

Mabry and Clary were credited with forfeit wins at 165 and 174 before Speight notched another pin at 3:25 in the second period. Kroll followed with an 11-3 major decision at 197 before
Sammy Sosa (Wauseon, Ohio/Wauseon H.S.) closed the day with an 11-3 major decision at 285 for his first collegiate victory.

"We will take some time off the next few weeks and then we will come back and get ready for the national duals in January," Kelly concluded.

Lourdes (4-2) will have a month off for the holidays before returning to the mat Jan. 5-6 at the NWCA National Duals in Louisville, Ky. The Gray Wolves' first opponent for the event has yet to be announced.
