Final Results

Lourdes wrapped up the dual meet portion of its 2021-2022 schedule on Sunday evening, dropping a 33-15 decision to Rochester (Mich.) inside of Garth Pleasant Arena in Rochester Hills, Mich.
 
"This was a disappointing way to end our season," head coach Dock Kelly III said afterwards.  "Although we didn't wrestle a few of our starters, there are no acceptable excuses to lose this match."
 
Dru Wilson (Warren, Mich./Wood-Tower H.S.) picked up the Gray Wolves' first victory of the day with a 9-2 decision at 133 pounds.  Chris Jedding (Mason, Ohio/Mason H.S.) added a win, also by decision, 8-4, at 149 pounds for the Gray Wolves.
 
Ryan Marvin (Swanton, Ohio/Swanton H.S.) earned Lourdes' final win of the day, and his first triumph of the season, with a 5-3 decision at 165 pounds.
 
Lourdes also was credited with a victory at 125 pounds via forfeit while Rochester picked up wins by forfeit in three weight classes.
 
"Our singular focus now becomes the conference tournament on Saturday," Kelly added.  "We will be ready to compete and we will put forth our best effort to qualify as many guys as we can for the national tournament."
 
Lourdes (10-6) will head to the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday.  Action begins at 9 a.m. inside of the Schaefer Center on the campus of Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne, Ind.
