In a battle of two teams ranked in the top-10 of the latest NAIA coaches' poll, seventh-ranked Indiana Tech scored a road victory over 10
th-ranked Lourdes 26-24, 25-22, 29-27 on Wednesday evening inside the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center.

Jeff Lam (Richmond, B.C./Hugh McRoberts H.S.) put down 22 kills to lead the offense while hitting at a .487 clip, but as a team Lourdes hit just .143 on the night. Lam also had a team-high 12 digs for a double-double.
Lourdes took an early 8-3 lead in the opening set and maintained a six-point lead at 16-10 before the Warriors went on a 12-4 run to pull in front for the first time on the evening, 22-20. The Gray Wolves eventually fought off three set points, forcing extra points, before dropping the opening set.
The Gray Wolves held a 15-14 lead in set two before Indiana Tech went on another late run. A 10-4 spurt allowed the visitors to forge ahead and build the 2-0 lead in the match.
The third set saw 21 ties and five lead changes. Lourdes had two set points in the third and fought off a pair of match points before the Warriors scored the final two points of the match.
Eduardo Ayala (Curitiba, Brazil/Colegio Dom Bosco) tallied 10 kills as he and Lam accounted for 32 of the team's 38 kills on the night.
Sawyer Schafer (Monroeville, Ohio/Monroeville H.S.) dished out 34 assists.
Daynte Stewart led Indiana Tech (12-0, 6-0) with 15 kills as the Warriors hit .252 for the match. Joey Hermes had a match-high 13 digs for Indiana Tech.
Lourdes (4-2, 3-2) takes to the road for a pair of matches beginning on Friday evening as the Gray Wolves travel to Grand Rapids, Mich. to battle Cornerstone. First serve is set for 7 p.m. inside Mol Arena.
