rd-ranked Cornerstone at Mol Arena in Grand Rapids, Mich.

"This definitely wasn't the performance that we wanted for tonight," head coach
Greg Reitz said afterwards. "We never really got into our rhythm. We will look to put forth a better effort tomorrow."

The Gray Wolves were held to just .035 hitting for the evening, with
McKenna Hall (Sylvania, Ohio/Northview H.S.) accounting for seven of the team's 21 kills.Â
Alli Plasencio (Toledo, Ohio/Central Catholic H.S.) led the defense with 11 digs, her 31
st consecutive double figure dig match.

A 12-3 run in the opening set allowed the Golden Eagles to take control early. Cornerstone led just 16-14 in the second when the hosts scored six straight points to pull away before a 14-3 run in the third allowed the Golden Eagles to complete the sweep.

Rylie Walters led Cornerstone (11-3, 2-0 WHAC) with 11 kills while Patsy Morris had 16 digs.

Lourdes (6-4, 2-1) remains in Grand Rapids to face Aquinas on Saturday afternoon. First serve is set for 1 p.m. at the Sturrus Sports & Fitness Center.
