Lourdes remained undefeated in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference action on Thursday evening, defeating Siena Heights 30-17 inside the SHU Fieldhouse in Adrian, Mich.

"This was a good team win for us, in a semi-hostile environment tonight," head coach
Dock Kelly III said afterwards. "Although we didn't wrestle all of our starters, we still have areas where we must improve if we are going to contend for a WHAC title this year."

The Gray Wolves took the early lead without stepping onto the mat as
Tyler Hisey (St. Marys, Ohio/Memorial H.S.) was credited with a victory via forfeit at 125 pounds. Siena Heights (2-10, 0-4 WHAC) took the lead with a pair of tech fall wins at 133 and 141 before
Hunter Noland (Dalton, Ga./Dalton H.S.) picked up Lourdes first win on the mat, and his first as a Gray Wolf, with a 24-6 tech fall at 149 pounds in a match that ended midway through the third period.

Siena Heights retook the lead with a major decision at 157 before Lourdes captured the next four bouts to secure the victory.Â
Drew Torres (Phoenix, Ariz./Tempe Union H.S.) scored a 22-8 major decision at 165 pounds while
Dominico Migliori (Curtis, Ohio/Clay H.S.) notched a fall just 1:39 into his 174-pound match. For the freshman, he tied the team lead with his seventh pin of the year.

William Speight (Bedford, Ohio/Bedford H.S.) notched his team-leading 15
th win of the year to improve to 15-2 with his 9-3 decision at 184 pounds.Â
Carter Kroll (Ontario, Ohio/Ontario H.S.) picked up a forfeit win for Lourdes at 197 before the Saints earned one final victory with a decision at 285 pounds.

Lourdes (6-5, 3-0) will head to North Manchester, Ind. on Saturday morning for the Spartan Mat Classic hosted by Manchester. Action is slated to begin at 9 a.m. inside of Stauffer-Wolfe Arena.
