Lourdes extended its winning streak to five consecutive games on Saturday afternoon as the Gray Wolves defeated the University of Michigan-Dearborn 95-85 inside Alliance Catholic Credit Union Arena in Livonia, Mich.

Clif Snow (Middletown, Ohio/Middletown H.S.),
Jackie Harris (Toledo, Ohio/Saint Francis de Sales H.S.), and
Joey Holifield (Toledo, Ohio/Cardinal Stritch H.S.) all recorded double-doubles in the victory. Snow scored a team-high 27 points and pulled down 13 rebounds off the bench while Harris added 24 points and 11 boards. Holifield finished with 12 points and 13 rebounds.

"We will take the win but we need to keep getting better," head coach
Dennis Hopson said afterwards. "We were very inconsistent today with too many fouls."

The Wolverines scored the game's first eight points, holding Lourdes scoreless for the opening five minutes. The Gray Wolves battled back, taking a 13-12 lead with just under 12 minutes remaining in the first half. The game was close for the next eight minutes, with Michigan-Dearborn holding a 32-30 lead when the Gray Wolves scored 14 consecutive points on the way to building a 48-35 lead at intermission.

Michigan-Dearborn was able to close to within seven just four minutes into the second half before the Gray Wolves pushed the lead back to 15, 66-51, with 12 minutes to play. In the half of runs, the Wolverines pulled back within nine before Lourdes extended the advantage to 17 at the at the 6:25 mark. A 13-3 run by Michigan-Dearborn pulled the Wolverines within seven with just over three minutes to play, but they would not get any closer.

Little Anderson (Toledo, Ohio/Cardinal Stritch H.S.) also finished in double figures for Lourdes with 15 points on an afternoon in which the Gray Wolves would shoot 38 free throws, making 26.

Maurice Anderson led Michigan-Dearborn (4-15, 1-10 WHAC) with 30 points and 10 rebounds while Ibrahim Mohamed added 23 points.

Lourdes (14-5, 8-3) returns home on Wednesday evening to host Siena Heights. Tip-off is slated for 7:30 p.m. inside the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center.
