For the first time in program history, Lourdes went on the road to defeat Aquinas on Wednesday evening, downing the Saints 71-61 inside the Sturrus Sports & Fitness Center in Grand Rapids, Mich. to complete the season sweep.
Â
"I am proud of how this team stays focused on what our mission is," head coach
Tandy Bradford said afterwards. "They have battled on the road all season so it's great to see this team stick together for our goals. They will enjoy their bye weekend and be ready to start February coming off a win."
