Lourdes and Aquinas battled for 90 minutes on Saturday evening at Wildcat Stadium but neither team could find the back of the net as the two sides finished in a scoreless draw.
For the Gray Wolves, the tie was their fifth of the season, setting a new school record for draws in a campaign.
Aquinas (9-2-2, 5-1-1 WHAC) controlled the play for most of the first half, holding an 8-2 edge in shots and having all five of the corner kick opportunities. Shots were more even in the second half as the Saints held just an 11-8 advantage to finish the match with a 19-10 margin.
Alex Brock (Sylvania, Ohio/Southview H.S.) made nine saves between the posts for his four shutout of the season, tying the school mark set by
Igor Silva during the 2021 campaign. Antonio Strassioto needed to make just one save for his clean sheet.
Lourdes (2-6-5, 2-3-2) remains home on Wednesday afternoon as the Gray Wolves entertain Concordia (Mich.). Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium.
