Lourdes used a 21-3 run over six minutes midway through the second half to pull away from Ohio Christian and improve to 6-0 on the season, defeating the Trailblazers 91-75 on Tuesday evening inside the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center.

With the game tied at 50 with just under 14 minutes remaining,
Jackie Harris (Toledo, Ohio/St. Francis de Sales H.S.) drained back-to-back three-pointers to start the run and after a Trailblazers triple of their own, Lourdes scored the next 18 points to push the lead to 18 as the Gray Wolves never looked back. Ohio Christian would not get closer than 21 the rest of the way.

Ohio Christian (3-5) led by seven quickly, 11-4, before Lourdes responded with a 15-2 run to take the lead 19-13 midway through the first half. The Gray Wolf lead grew to seven, 23-16, before the Trailblazers answered with a 16-2 spurt of their own to retake a seven-point advantage, 32-25, with five minutes to play before intermission.Â

Lourdes answered with the game's next 11 points to pull back in front late in the stanza, taking a 41-36 lead into the locker room. Out of halftime, the Gray Wolves maintained a two-to-five-point lead before Ohio Christian pulled even at the 14-minute mark.

Harris led Lourdes with 28 points and seven rebounds while playing all 40 minutes and
Joey Holifield (Toledo, Ohio/Cardinal Stritch H.S.) added 20 points and six assists.Â
Shaunn Monroe (Charleston, W. Va./Fairborn [Ohio] H.S.) added 17 points and
Stephen Coleman Jr. (Toledo, Ohio/Hillcrest Prep H.S.) tallied 15 points.

The Gray Wolves shot 62.3% from the floor on the night and outrebounded the Trailblazers 31-20.

Jimmy Salamone led Ohio Christian with 26 points while Levi Seiler added 16 more.

Lourdes (6-0) has eight days off before returning to the hardwood on Nov. 29 when the Gray Wolves travel to Grand Rapids, Mich. to face Cornerstone. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. inside Mol Arena.
