For the second consecutive day Lourdes dropped both ends of a doubleheader against Concordia (Mich.), falling 11-2 and 11-1 at Cardinal Field in Ann Arbor, Mich.
 
Lourdes scored first in the opener, as Skylar Mays (Oregon, Ohio/Clay H.S.) led off the third with a single, moved to second on a hit by Cord Noble (Rockford, Mich./Rockford H.S.) and scored on a throwing error following Ryan Jagodzinski's (Perrysburg, Ohio/Rossford H.S.) bunt single.
 
The Cardinals answered quickly, scoring four times in the bottom of the third before adding two more runs in the fourth.  The lead grew to 11-1 after a four-run sixth inning before Jackson Kennedy (Oregon, Ohio/Clay H.S.) tripled to lead off the ninth, with the run coming home on a wild pitch.
 
Caleb Dugan (Lima, Ohio/Lima Senior H.S.) had two of the Gray Wolves' eight hits in the opener.
 
Concordia (27-1, 12-0 WHAC) jumped out to a quick start in game two, scoring three times in the first before adding five more runs in the second.
 
Harrison Jackson (Millbury, Ohio/Lake H.S.) led off the fourth with a single and scored two batters later on a RBI hit by A.J. Brinson (Bloomington, Ind./South H.S.) for Lourdes' lone run in the nightcap.  The Cardinals would add three more runs in the bottom of the fifth.
 
Dugan had a second consecutive two-hit game as Lourdes managed just six hits in game two.
 
Lourdes' (12-13, 8-6) scheduled game against Saint Francis (Ind.) slated for Tuesday has been cancelled due to scheduling issues with the Cougars.  The Gray Wolves will now return to the diamond on Friday afternoon as the Gray Wolves travel to Southfield, Mich. to face Lawrence Tech.  First pitch in game one of the doubleheader is set for 1 p.m. at Jimmy Johns Field.
