Lourdes University Vice President for Athletics Janet Eaton-Smith has announced that Keith Nusbaum has been hired as the Gray Wolves' new head men's and women's bowling coach.
 
"I am excited for Coach Nusbaum to lead our program," Eaton-Smith stated.  "He has vast bowling experience spanning numerous years and I look forward to him leading both our men's and women's teams."
 
Nusbaum has owned and operated Shotmakers Pro Shop since 1992 and Champions Choice Pro Shop since 2018.  Both shops are located in the Toledo area.
 
He was an assistant coach at Whitmer High School from 2010 through this past spring, helping the Panthers to the league championship in 2023.  Nusbaum also spent time as the assistant coach for the University of Toledo club team from 2007-2009.
 
"I am extremely excited and honored to serve as head coach of the men's and women's bowling teams at Lourdes University," Nusbaum said.  "I look forward to working with the teams to help them climb the rankings."
 
An avid bowler himself, Nusbaum is a USBC Ohio State Bowling Hall of Fame Member for Superior Performance after being inducted in 2015.  He is also a Greater Toledo Bowling Association Hall of Fame Member for Superior Performance, having been inducted in 2003.  He has 137 perfect games to his resume.
