SYLVANIA, Ohio (LourdesAthletics.com) – The Lourdes University men's soccer team battled to a hard-fought 0-0 draw against Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference leaders, Madonna University on Wednesday evening. The match also served as Senior Night, honoring 10 Gray Wolves in their final home regular-season game.

The tie marked the first for the visiting Crusaders and improved the Gray Wolves' league record to 6-2-2, placing them third in the conference standings behind Madonna (9-0-1) and Indiana Tech University (8-0-2). This result positions Lourdes as strong contenders to host the upcoming conference tournament.

The Gray Wolves showcased strong defensive efforts throughout the match, holding the Crusaders scoreless and earning a valuable point in the conference standings. Despite several scoring chances, neither team could find the net, resulting in a tightly contested match.

Senior goalkeeper Alex Brock recorded his 11th career clean sheet, contributing to another solid performance in goal for the Gray Wolves. The senior came up with six total saves on the night.

• The Gray Wolves currently stand third in the WHAC standings with their 6-2-2 league record.
• With seven season wins, the team has earned more wins than it did in the previous season with six. Additionally, the 2024 campaign marks the fourth season with seven-plus wins and the first since 2021.
